For Kasthall, asking what a rug is, is a way of understanding how a rug brings together architecture, interiors, and everyday life. Every rug we make begins with this question, exploring how new ideas, craftsmanship and design can shape the spaces we inhabit. Understanding what a rug does, and what it means to live with one, is at the centre of everything we make.
