Ellinor Eliasson is a Swedish textile designer educated at the Swedish School of Textiles at the University of Borås. She has worked with Kasthall’s product and design development since 2015.
Her work often begins with the material itself and a curiosity to explore the possibilities of textile production.
The Harvest concept transforms residual yarn from the Kasthall factory into woven rugs with unique colour compositions, while the rug Feather, inspired by the layered structure of bird feathers, received both a Wallpaper* Design Award and a Hospitality Design Product Award in 2025.
Through designs such as Harvest and Feather, Eliasson explores how material, texture and textile techniques can generate new patterns and surfaces within Kasthall’s weaving and tufting traditions.
