Backing Information

Backing is an available manufacturing treatment of the underside of woven rugs only.

The underside is coated with an acrylate adhesive, to stabilize the rug and extend its life.

It is recommended for all woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 m2 in area.

All Kasthall rugs are made from natural fibers, so slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions may occur between yarn batches.
