Ida is a woven rug in pure wool, defined by a 60 cm pattern repeat that establishes a clear and consistent structural rhythm. Inspired by rölakan weaving traditions, its expression is guided by a drawn sketch that is followed line by line on the loom, allowing colour and form to emerge with quiet precision. The result is a rug with weight and gravity — composed, architectural, and deeply rooted in the act of weaving itself.

Backing Information

Backing is an available manufacturing treatment of the underside of woven rugs only.

The underside is coated with an acrylate adhesive, to stabilize the rug and extend its life.

It is recommended for all woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 m2 in area.

All Kasthall rugs are made from natural fibers, so slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions may occur between yarn batches.
