Goose Eye Anniversary was designed by the Kasthall Design Studio to mark Kasthall’s 135th anniversary, reinterpreting Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg’s original Goose Eye pattern. Woven in pure wool, the design blends multiple yarn colors to soften the geometry and give the surface a nuanced, characterful presence. The result honors both tradition and innovation — a new expression of enduring elegance and resilience.

Backing Information

Backing is an available manufacturing treatment of the underside of woven rugs only.

The underside is coated with an acrylate adhesive, to stabilize the rug and extend its life.

It is recommended for all woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 m2 in area.

All Kasthall rugs are made from natural fibers, so slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions may occur between yarn batches.
