Fasad — including Uno — by David Chipperfield Design is Kasthall’s first rug collection to combine recycled post-consumer wool with virgin wool and linen. Recovered fibres are reworked into a high-quality yarn that becomes an integral part of the finished rug, allowing material reuse to sit naturally within a refined woven structure. It has a subtle texture inspired by the brick façade of Kasthall’s factory in Sweden, presented in a natural palette enlivened by understated glints of linen.

Backing Information

Backing is an available manufacturing treatment of the underside of woven rugs only.

The underside is coated with an acrylate adhesive, to stabilize the rug and extend its life.

It is recommended for all woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 m2 in area.

All Kasthall rugs are made from natural fibers, so slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions may occur between yarn batches.
