“We wanted to create a space that engages both today’s and tomorrow’s audiences, offering fresh perspectives and a flexible layout that adapts dynamically to different needs. Our goal was to make the customer experience seamless, participatory and inspiring,” says Eva-Marie Eriksson, Head of Hospitality Design at Fyra.
The execution of the space was led by Linn Hebrant at Yllw with a clear focus on bringing Kasthall’s vision to life while navigating timelines, complexity and ongoing operations.
“For us, a physical environment is never just about aesthetics or function, it’s about how space can strengthen a brand and create experiences that last,” says Linn Hebrant, Interior Manager & Partner at Yllw. “This project became a real testament to that — when architecture, function, and business goals are woven together, something powerful happens.”
At the heart of the store is a nine-meter-long table from Vaarnii, surrounded by soft architectural elements like suspended rugs and textiles from Astrid along with curated objects from partners including Johanna Gullichsen, Arita, Transparent, Vaarnii and more. The modular layout combined with natural materials and repurposed elements ensures the entire space can evolve with time and need.

“By bringing together Kasthall’s and Astrid’s high-quality materials and timeless collections with a range of other top design brands, we are creating a new design destination where visitors can experience the artistry behind our rugs and collaborate on new ideas,” says Mirkku Kullberg, CEO of Kasthall.
The Stockholm concept store reflects Kasthall’s ambition not just to showcase rugs, but to foster conversations. Conversations between materials and designers. Between the past and the future. And most importantly, between Kasthall and the next generation of creators.
