With the azure blue Tyrrhenian Sea on its doorstep and the stunning Apuan Alps as a backdrop, the five-star Hotel Principe di Forte dei Marmi on the Tuscan coast enjoys an enviable location. The hotel’s 28 rooms and communal spaces have recently been refurbished, with Kasthall rugs used as a key furnishing and design cue.
Hotel CEO Cristina Vascellari was the creative force behind the renovation – and many happy years as a Kasthall customer have helped her understand what rugs can do for a space. In this project, carefully selected rugs from five Kasthall collections not only add beauty – they anchor furniture arrangements, define zones within rooms, add texture, color and warmth, and create ambience.
