Esther is an elegant woven bouclé rug designed for use both as an area rug and as wall-to-wall carpeting. The curly bouclé yarn, developed and manufactured at Kasthall’s factory in Sweden, draws inspiration from the close-cropped fleece of sheep, giving the surface an evocative character. Combined with nuanced shades of wool and linen, the structure creates a marbled, softly shimmering surface with lasting material integrity.

Backing Information

Backing is an available manufacturing treatment of the underside of woven rugs only.

The underside is coated with an acrylate adhesive, to stabilize the rug and extend its life.

It is recommended for all woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 m2 in area.
